SUMMARY:Cub Scout Winter Hike
DESCRIPTION:Calling all Cub Scouts! \nPlease join us for a winter hike at Treasure Valley Scout Reservation on \nSunday\, December 13th\, starting at 1:00pm – 4:00pm. \nExact location and distance will be determined as the date gets closer based on current conditions\, but you can plan on an easy to moderate hike of approximately 2 – 4 miles. \nDetails will be communicated to families who have signed up\, so please be sure to do so. \nPlease be sure to bring the following and to dress appropriately for the weather: \n\n\n\nFirst-Aid Kit: A small personal kit with adhesive bandages\, antiseptic wipes\, moleskin for blisters\, and single-use antibiotic ointment.\nFilled Water Bottle: A reusable bottle or hydration bladder filled with enough water to stay hydrated the entire trip.\nFlashlight: A small\, battery-powered flashlight or headlamp (plus extra or fresh batteries) for darkness or signaling.\nTrail Food: High-energy\, non-perishable snacks like trail mix (GORP)\, granola bars\, or dried fruit.\nWhistle: An emergency whistle to signal for help using the “Stay\, Answer\, Whistle” (SAW) method if separated.\n\n\n\n** When registering for this event – please provide a contact person and email for your group and how many in total will be in your group will be attending – you do not need to register each person individually. \nEVENT FLYER \n  \nUpdated 10/19/2026

DESCRIPTION:Save the date! \nBring fishing gear if you have it. \nNo barbed hooks. \nNo treble hooks. \nWe’ll provide the worms. \nCost – $25 per pack – LIMITED SPACE PER SESSION (25-30 cubs per session total) \nUnits will need to sign up for a 90 minute time slot: \n1st session: 8:30am -10:00 am \n2nd session: 10:30a-12pm \nThen 1 hour lunch break for instructors (12p-1p) \n3rd session – 1:00pm – 2:30pm \nThere MUST be at least 2 trained adults to help us by keeping eyes on the water. \nFishing poles\, etc will be available for those that need to borrow equipment. \nRain date: 5/24 \nCamp Collier\, Gardner MA \n  \nUpdated 8/6/2026
